How VHT collects, uses, retains, and protects personal and health information. This page discloses our data retention practices.

We keep personal and health information only as long as needed to provide the Services, to meet a legal obligation, or for limited security and fraud-prevention purposes. We do not keep it longer than those purposes require. Deleting your account is permanent deletion of the live account, not a freeze, pause, or deactivation.
While your account is active we keep your health profile, ECHNA conversations, uploaded documents, and connected-device data including Apple Health / HealthKit data synced with your permission on iOS.
How to delete: In the app, Settings → Account → Delete My Account. On the web, https://vht.ai/account-deletion or email [email protected]. We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Live access is typically removed immediately.
After deletion we may retain only: a limited backup for security, fraud prevention, and to finish deletion safely (destroyed on request to [email protected] or when no longer needed); records the law requires, only as long as the law requires; anonymized or de-identified security and audit logs; and aggregated data that cannot reasonably identify you. Identifiable operational logs expire automatically, typically within 7 to 90 days.
Apple Health (HealthKit): we do not write false data to HealthKit and we do not use HealthKit or other health data for advertising, marketing, or use-based data mining. Deleting your VHT account deletes HealthKit-derived data on our servers. Android Health Connect is not used in the current VHT Android app.
Information We Collect includes name, email, phone, address, demographics, medical history, symptoms, records, vitals, device info, IP address, and ECHNA interactions. We do not sell personal and sensitive user data.
Your Rights: access, correct, or delete your data; opt-out of non-essential uses; EU users have additional GDPR rights. Contact [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
